Helga Township Legal Notices
NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION MEETING AND ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Helga Township, County of Hubbard, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Township Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 9th, 2010. In case of inclement weather the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March.
The election poll hours will be open from 5pm to 8pm, at which time voters will elect:
- Three Supervisors
- One Clerk
- Three Planning and Zoning Members
The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:15pm to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.
The Annual Election and Meeting will be held at the Helga Township Community Center, 2 miles east of US Highway 71 at 25895 Hubbard County 9.

Helga Township
Located in north central Hubbard county, Helga Township is primarily a rural area just south of Bemidji, MN. According to the 2000 US Census the population is 1,109. The township is approximately 35.6 square miles and contains the eastern half of Lake Plantagenet in the northwest corner. Dividing the township into quarters is US Highway 71 and Hubbard County Road 9. Running north-south through the eastern half of the township is Hubbard County Road 36.
